The property owner has applied to the City of North Bay to rezone to add permitted uses to the existing “Industrial Commercial Special No. 21 (MC Sp.21)”. These are “Restaurant” and “Retail Store, Local”. If the Zoning By-law Amendment were to be approved, the applicants have stated that they would open a restaurant within the existing building. There would be no change to the footprint of the building, as shown on attached Schedule “B”. The Special zone would also recognize the existing side yard setback of 0.06 metres, the existing front yard setback of 7.5 metres, the existing provision of landscaping in the front yard and the existing parking. Proposed Zone: “Industrial Commercial Special No. 21 (MC Sp.21)” Proposed Official Plan Designation: General Industry (no change)
