Our Mission Statement

To provide the citizens and visitors of North Bay, A reliable and courteous transportation service in clean, safe, and accessible vehicles, recognizing individual passengers needs and requirements.

Routes & Schedules

 

Early Morning Service from Lavase & Hughes and Clarion Resort

Monday through Friday, The 1b Campus Special via Main West and 6 Hornell / CFB buses provide early morning service before their first regularly scheduled departure from the terminal.

Clarion Resort to Terminal

The 6 Hornell / CFB bus departs Clarion Resort at 6:05 to arrive at the terminal for 6:30 before its first regularly scheduled departure at 6:30.

Lavase & Hughes to Terminal

The 1b Campus Special via Main West bus departs Lavase Rd & Hughes Rd at 6:10 to arrive at the terminal for 6:30 before its first regularly scheduled departure at 6:30.

North Highway Service

The 1a College / University via Algonquin route provides service to the North Highway at the following times:
Monday to Friday on the 6:45, 13:45 and 22:00 departures;
Saturdays on the 7:00, 15:00 and 22:00 departures;
Sundays on the 8:00 and 16:00 departures.

Statutory Holidays

North Bay Transit does not operate on the following statutory holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Victoria Day
  • Canada Day
  • Labour Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

North Bay Transit does operate a Sunday Schedule on the following statutory holidays:

  • Family Day
  • Easter Monday
  • Civic Holiday
  • Boxing Day

Transfer Locations

Transfers from bus to bus are permitted at the following locations:

  • Transit Terminal
  • Northgate Shopping Centre
  • Founders House Lower Residence
  • Algonquin Ave at Sherriff Ave
  • McIntyre St W at Cassels St
  • Cassells St at Olive St
  • Fisher St at McIntyre St E
  • McIntyre St E at John St
  • Lavase Rd at Hughes Rd
