New Flyer - Low Floor Buses

Low Florr Busses

These buses are fully accessible. A ramp folds out to provide wheelchair access. There are no stairs to negotiate upon entry or exit. North Bay Transit now has 16 of these units covering most routes.

All passengers requiring accessible buses should call 474-0419 shortly before their trip to make sure there is an accessible bus on their route when needed. Bus servicing needs do arise and sometimes result in a bus with steps servicing a regular route. 80% of the fleet will be comprised of low floor, accessible buses by end of 2010.
