As part of the Workplace Safety North (WSN) Feed Your Brain Lunch and Learn Series, you’re invited to attend a one-hour information session, "Promoting mental health through a positive culture," on Wednesday, January 31, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, at 690 McKeown Avenue, North Bay.

Mental illness is a leading cause of disability in Canada. In any given year, 1 in 5 Canadians experience a mental health problem, costing the country an estimated $51 billion per year. We need to move beyond the conversation about stigmas, treatment, and psychological compliance to include meaningful dialogue about empowering people by teaching them how they can take control of their own mental well-being. This session will cover:

• Introduction to key concepts and application of positive psychology
• Link between workplace health and safety culture and positive psychology
• Practical positive psychology exercises

Enjoy a complimentary light lunch, or bring your own.
Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your place.
