Algonquin Avenue closed August 2 for water main repair

North Bay, ON – July 29, 2016 – The City of North Bay will be conducting repairs to a broken water main on Algonquin Avenue on Tuesday, August 2 starting at 9 p.m.

In order to fix the break, the City will shut down water service to businesses and residences within the shutdown area. 

The two southbound lanes on Algonquin will be closed to traffic at Greenwood Avenue.  Southbound traffic will be diverted around the area via Greenwood Ave. to Browning St. to Reynolds Ave.  Northbound lanes and local access will be maintained during construction.  The closure is expected to last for approximately 8 hours.
