Road and parking lot closures for Summer in the Park
NORTH BAY, ON – July 25, 2016 – The Summer in the Park Festival will be taking over the City of North Bay’s waterfront the Civic Holiday long weekend, July 29 to 31. Along with the festival come a number of parking lot and road closures.
Beginning today, Monday, July 25, Municipal Lot 2 (Oak St.) and 13 (Wyld St.) will be closed to accommodate the World’s Finest Show Midway. The closure will be in effect until midnight Monday, August 1.
Municipal Lot 10 (Wyld St.) will be closed from 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27 until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2 to accommodate the festival concert stage.

Wyld Street at Oak Street will also be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 29. This closure will be in effect until midnight Sunday, July 31.
Due to the road and parking lot closures, those coming down to Summer in the Park should allow extra time to get to and from their destination. People are also encouraged to take public transit as a more efficient way to get to their destination. Those with monthly municipal lot permits will be able to use the monthly permit as a bus pass during the festival.
