For those who are 'on the move'...

In the winter, take in the excitement offered at Laurentian Ski Hill with the 350 foot vertical in the heart of the city. Groomed snowshoeing and hiking trails along the escarpment are also available on site. For those adventure seekers, take a ride in style and see the land by snowmobile or ATV.

During the summer, walk, run, bike or rollerblade the Kate Pace Way located alongside of North Bay’s scenic Waterfront Park and take in a gorgeous sunset overlooking Lake Nipissing. Hundreds of kilometres of multi-use trails are also available for those who seek a more challenging terrain.


Fun In The Sun

North Bay is conveniently nestled between two fresh water lakes which boast over 40 public beach access points. Lake Nipissing is a world-renowned fishing and sailing destination and presents breathtaking sunsets while Trout Lake is great for swimming, canoeing and waterskiing.

The Heritage Railway & Carousel Company provides hours of laughter and enjoyment to 100,000 + visitors each summer who stop by to ride the beautiful carousels and miniature railway at North Bay's Waterfront Park

Every long weekend in August, the city’s Waterfront and Lee Park transform into an outdoor extravaganza boasting headline musical entertainment, midway, country singing contests, family friendly activities and more.

Canada Day

Celebrate Canada’s birthday in style at North Bay’s Waterfront Park with a multicultural showcase, giant cake, kid zone, museum exhibit, road race, sailboat regatta, live musical entertainment, firework show and much more.

Families First

Ring in the New Year in North Bay at the free family event. Enjoy skating, inflatable land, swimming, coloring contest, bingo and live entertainment all culminating with a large firework display.

Visit one of Foodland Ontario’s Top 10 Farmer’s Markets. North Bay’s Farmer’s Market is located in the Downtown Civic Square from the long weekend in May to Thanksgiving.
