Taxes, Water Bills and Other Payments

Updated Aug.7, 2020

Through the passing of Bill 195, the Province of Ontario has lifted the COVID-19-related State of Emergency effective July 24.  This means that the interest-free grace period for both the February and June 2020 tax installments, as well as all water bills issued after Feb. 28, will end on Oct. 31.  On Nov. 1, any remaining 2020 balance will be subject to late payment penalty charges.

Account holders who are able to make payments toward their account are encouraged to do so in order to assist in reducing the outstanding balance.  In the event that you are realizing financial hardship due to COVID-19 please email propertytaxes@cityofnorthbay.ca or call 705-474-0400 ext. 2127 to discuss your payment arrangements.
