Capitol Centre to receive Heritage Site Plaque
North Bay, ON – February 17, 2017 – To help celebrate Ontario Heritage Week, February 20 to 26, the North Bay Municipal Heritage Committee will be presenting its latest heritage site plaque to the Capitol Centre.
Since the early 1930s the Capitol Centre has been the home for arts and entertainment for the City of North Bay. The heritage plaque discusses the history of the centre and the impact that it has had on the local arts community.
Members of the public are invited to join the Municipal Heritage Committee at the Capitol Centre (150 Main St. E., North Bay) on Monday, February 20, at 1 p.m. as the historic landmark is presented with its official plaque.
