City begins Strategic Plan public consultation process
North Bay, ON – October 28, 2016 – The City of North Bay’s Strategic Plan Framework is ready for public input.
Developed earlier this year with Council and the City’s Senior Management Team, the Framework suggests priorities and objectives to guide the City’s actions into 2026. Now it’s the public’s turn.
The City is asking the public to share its views on the proposed 10-year Framework including areas of concentration, goals and objectives. Your input will inform the final Community Strategic Plan that will be presented to Mayor and Council for consideration in 2017.
“This process is essential in creating a Community Strategic Plan because it will help align Council and the community’s vision of the work to be undertaken over the next decade to make our City even greater,” said Mayor Al McDonald.
Residents can access the strategic plan framework on the City’s website, review it in person at City Hall, or request a copy via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Public consultation will run from November 2 to November 16. A full list of the community town hall sessions is available from Customer Service at City Hall, in the City Information section of the North Bay Nugget, and on our website www.cityofnorthbay.ca/strategicplan.
Can’t make it in person? Watch for the online Strategic Plan survey launching early next week.
