City of North Bay to Celebrate National Public Works Week

Public works professionals are the unsung heroes who keep our water flowing, our roads plowed and our parks clean.

Join the City of North Bay in celebrating the work they do in our community during National Public Works Week May 19–25.

“National Public Works Week is aimed recognizing the contributions of our Public Works employees and to provide the community an opportunity to learn more about the vital work they do to keep our City operating smoothly,” said Coun. Chris Mayne, Council’s Chairman of Infrastructure and Operations. “On behalf of Council, I would like to thank the men and women who oversee our Public Works for their dedication and expertise. Particularly, in a year like we are having with record snowfalls, extreme winter road conditions and spring flooding issues, the tireless work they carry out is even more appreciated.”

This year marks the 59th annual National Public Works Week, which is recognized annually across North America.
