The City of North Bay is presently developing an Active Transportation Master Plan that will explore the various transit, cycling, walking, running, skateboarding, etc. routes throughout the city. This is an exciting project that will propose improvements to the city’s street and trail network over the next 10 years. We have the following three points to release.

1.  Resident Survey

As part of the Active Transportation North Bay planning process, we are asking residents to participate in a brief survey. The collected information will provide us with valuable information relative to how, when, and why residents do, or do not, utilize North Bay’s transit, street, trail, and park network for active or passive mobility purposes. The survey is found at:

2.  Master Plan Open House

Please note that we are holding a Public Open House on Wednesday June 27th from 5:00pm-7:30pm in the Foyer area of City Hall (200 McIntyre St East). We will review active transportation concept maps as well as various street and trail ideas with participating residents. This will be an enjoyable and exciting session; please plan to attend.
