Parking lot guardrail replacement starts Monday

North Bay, ON – September 16, 2016 – Guardrail replacement will affect parking in Municipal Lot 11 and the Main St. TD Canada Trust parking lot next week.

The City of North Bay will be replacing the guardrails in Municipal Parking Lot 11 beginning on Monday, September 19.  As a result, from September 19 to 20, the parking spots along the guardrail dividing the TD Canada Trust parking lot and Municipal Lot 11 will be cordoned off to complete guardrail replacement.  Subsequently, the paid parking spots along the edge of McIntyre St. in Municipal Lot 11 will be cordoned off from September 21 to 22 to complete construction.

Alternate paid parking will be available for both TD Canada Trust customers and City of North Bay customers in Lot 3 (155 McIntyre St. E.), Lot 7 (100 Worthington St. E), Lot 4 (Parking Garage – Levels 1 &2) and Lot 2 (Oak St.).  Lots 2 and 4 also offer 2 hours free parking on your first entry of the day.

The work on the guardrails is anticipated to be completed by Thursday, September 22, pending any weather or construction delays.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank the public in advance for their cooperation and understanding.
