Public Information Centre Notice - King's Landing Wharf and Marina Schedule c, Class Environmental Assessment

The Corporation of the City of North Bay has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study to evaluate the existing King’s Landing Wharf and Marina. The Wharf is in poor condition and requires significant capital investment to maintain or restore it to a safe and useful condition. The City is therefore considering alternatives to address short-term structural concerns as well as long-term maintenance and operation of the Wharf and Marina facilities.

The Study Area is generally bound by Memorial Drive to the East and Marathon Beach to the North.

In accordance with the requirements for Schedule C projects of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, the City is making preliminary study material and plans available for public review.

A Public Information Centre (PIC) is scheduled for October 4, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm to be held in the City Hall Rotunda located at 200 McIntyre Street East, North Bay, Ontario. This will provide the opportunity for the public and stakeholders to review the alternatives under consideration, and to provide input and comments.

Upon completion of the Study, an Environmental Study Report documenting the Preferred Solution will be prepared for public/agency review and comment.

Comments or requests to receive direct notification of future project activities should be submitted to:
