North Bay, ON – April 23, 2024 — Starting Wednesday morning, a section of sidewalk near Lee Park will undergo replacement for approximately two weeks.
The existing interlocking brick sidewalk, located between Judge Avenue and the Kate Pace Way (opposite to James Avenue), and on Judge Avenue between Memorial Drive and the Lakeshore Drive Overpass, has reached the end of its lifecycle. It will be replaced with concrete sidewalk and asphalt boulevard. Concrete work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. Asphalt restoration is scheduled for May 9 and 10.
During this period, drivers may experience minor interruptions while passing through the construction site. Pedestrian traffic is encouraged to take Judge, Leask, and James avenues.
