Public Transit

North Bay Transit remains operational, providing essential transportation throughout the City of North Bay.

Buses are equipped with a barrier separating operators and passengers and face coverings are required on buses in accordance with the directives of the North Bay Parry Sound Public Health Unit. Further information on face coverings can be found the following link: https://www.myhealthunit.ca/en/health-topics/coronavirus.asp.

We are asking all staff and customers respect the two-metre social distance between all other people at bus stops, inside buses, and at the transit terminal.  We ask that anybody who is ill or showing symptoms of COVID-19 not board the bus and for those who have recently traveled to follow the Government of Canada's recommendations for self-isolation.  We also encourage anybody that uses the buses to practice good hygiene, and to follow handwashing recommendations and all other recommendations of the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit, which can be found at the following link: https://www.myhealthunit.ca/en/health-topics/coronavirus.asp.

We encourage any questions or concerns to be forwarded to transit@cityofnorthbay.ca or to our information line at 705-474-0419.
